Word/Dance/Theater
was founded by Cynthia Word in 2000 and granted its 501(C)(3) charitable
organization status by the IRS in 2001. Word/Dance/Theater knows that the art of dance--it's philosophy, its knowledge of and methods for the harmonious integration of body, mind, and spirit; and the choreography evolving from such knowledge--contributes powerfully to the evolution of individual and societal dignity and humanity. Our mission is to provide--with excellence, insight, and creativity--performances, classes, workshops, lecture-demonstrations, and other educational experiences in the art of modern dance to people of all ages and stages of life.
