Adult Classes

All dates & tuition fees will be listed on the registration page for the current/upcoming season. Students are invited to reach out to cynthia@worddance.org for workshops, private lessons, and/or lectures outside of the regular class offerings.

What to Wear

On the first day of class:

  • Comfortable clothing, we suggest: leggings, shorts, tank tops/leotards

  • We dance in bare feet

Tunics:

Duncan dancers traditionally wear silk tunics in rehearsal, class, and performances, and all our classes continue this lineage. Hand-wash only, ironing required before performances. Please see our How To Care For Your Tunic instructions. Tunics are worn over comfortable clothing, generally leggings or shorts, leotard or tank top (over shoulders, not racerback)

Purchasing a Tunic from WDT:

  • Adult/teen tunics (in burgundy or turquoise) with band: $45

Please pay at check-out via registration link, bring a check made out to Word Dance Theater on the first day of class or use the Education PayPal Link (also at the top of this page via a pink button).

Tuition:

Pay by PayPal using the link/cart provided during registration. Please note that registration is not complete and a spot will not be held until payment is received.
